半导体行业的水/废水是比较难的工业水处理项目，处理水质要求高，水处理工艺设计相对复杂。2006
年7月，盛康承接了世界第三大半导体制造厂-国际半导体制造公司（SMIC），上海生产厂的废水处理项目的设计及工程承包。这也是中国目前最大的半导体制造厂。该项目的承接展示了盛康集团在国际水及废水领域里领先的科学技术，工程管理水平，
同时也强化了盛康集团在半导体制造行业的水/废水处理领域的地位。
盛康集团也利用其所成立的水处理基金，在污水处理及回用，水务领域方面，积极参与

July 2006, Salcon secured a project to design and construct a wastewater
treatment plant for Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC)
– the largest semiconductor manufacturer in China and third largest in the world – at its
Shanghai
manufacturing facilities. The SMIC
project will allow Salcon to showcase its technical expertise and further
strengthen our position in water and wastewater treatment for the semiconductor
industry, which has some of the most stringent and technically-sophisticated
requirements among industrial applications.
