重点流域，包括三河三湖（淮河、海河、辽河；太湖、巢湖、滇池）、松花江、黄河中上游、三峡库区及其上游、南水北调东线、南水北调中线水源地11个流域，涉及23个省、市、自治区。重点流域总面积约275万平方公里，总人口约7.88亿，GDP约9.6万亿。

(municipalities, autonomous regions).The area of the key water basins is 2.75
million km2,
with a population of 0.788 billion, and GDP of 9600 billion RMB.
