June 2006, SUI was awarded a consultancy contract by the Saudi Ministry of Water
and Electricity (MOWE) for supervision of unaccounted-for-water study and full
operational audit study of the water and wastewater services in Greater Dammam
and Madinah City of Saudi Arabia.
SUI
is also conducting training programmes for Saudi MOWE and Qatar General
Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) officers to upgrade their planning,
operational and maintenance capability in the area of municipal water
supply.
SUI
is also committed to expanding CAWT’s R&D capabilities in developing and
evaluating new technologies to support the water industry.
