1. INTRODUCTION

       Coal mining water refers to the water that infiltrates excavation space of mining well in the coal mining process, including the permeating water from ground surface and rock body fissure water. The characteristics of the water quality depend on the coal geologic setting and mineral chemical composition in the coal-measure strata, and the water will has high concentration of suspended solids in that it brings in much coal flour and rock flour when the water flows through the coal face and the tunnel. In addition, lots of bacteria will also be brought into the water due to the activity of miner’s production and living activity. The random discharge of this water will cause serious pollution to the environment, and waste water resource.
